I cant wait for Bow Season

I have done a lot of work on the lease this summer. It all comes down to opening weekend! My friend and I built an elevated stand for my pop-up blind and installed it a month ago. It is a 6'x6' platform raised 4' off of the ground. We used pressure-treated wood, and then we did the best we could in the field with painting it. The blind has been sitting out for a while in the elements, so Tonight i will know if it is OK or not. The more you sweat, and the more dirt that gets under your nail, the better you feel. I hope everyone has a great start to the season, and is safe out there.

Screw MINI TRUCKS! GO PINZGAUER!

I have fully changed my mind about Mini trucks. They are nice to have, but they are seriously lacking in the open air department. That is why i have fully invested my time for a new vehicle to replace my defender 90, into looking for a good new Pinzgauer project. Air cooled engine, fully independent suspension, locking difs, Swiss engineering, massive ground clearance, and a blank canvass to start to build a work of art.

WOW, just WOW.

I am blown away! the Mathews McPherson Safari Monster. Taken back, not just from the price tag of $2100.00. The rumors are that it will only be available in a 75-85 lbs. draw weight. The honey comb design is there to promote rigidity through the riser and cams and reduce the weight. Heck i think i had a water ski back in '92 that used this, but in graphite. The Archery industry is so far behind all of the other markets as far as technology. Ex: porcelain baseball bats. I do really want one!
