I have done a lot of work on the lease this summer. It all comes down to opening weekend! My friend and I built an elevated stand for my pop-up blind and installed it a month ago. It is a 6'x6' platform raised 4' off of the ground. We used pressure-treated wood, and then we did the best we could in the field with painting it. The blind has been sitting out for a while in the elements, so Tonight i will know if it is OK or not. The more you sweat, and the more dirt that gets under your nail, the better you feel.
